About our organisation

Semillas del Futuro is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering immigrants and their children in the United States by providing education, resources, and community support.

Moving to a new country can be overwhelming. Many immigrants arrive with dreams for a better future but may struggle to understand how systems work in the United States—such as healthcare, education, banking, housing, and other aspects of daily life.

Our mission is to plant seeds of knowledge, opportunity, and empowerment so that immigrant families can build stable, successful futures for themselves and their children.

Our goal

When people are given the right information, guidance, and support, they can transform their lives and strengthen their communities. Our Goal is to give those people a chance to transform.

Alaina Hernandez & Thalia Rojas.. Together, they founded Semillas del Futuro after recognizing the need for stronger support, education, and empowerment within the Hispanic and immigrant communities.

Alaina Hernandez

Nurse Practitioner

Alaina Hernandez is a bilingual nurse practitioner and healthcare provider who is passionate about improving access to healthcare and education within immigrant communities.

Thalia Rojas

Real Estate Agent

Thalia Rojas is a real estate professional dedicated to helping families achieve homeownership and financial stability.
